Mrs. Andrea Pilegaard received her M.A. in Theology from the Augustine Institute, having completed a B.S. degree in Communications and Film from Northern Arizona University. She has a great passion for classical liberal arts education and a love of the Catholic Faith. Mrs. Pilegaard has been teaching for eleven years and has been the Senior Thesis advisor for seven years at VDM.
She holds interests in reading and cooking with her husband, travelling and film. Augustine's Confessions, the writings of G.K. Chesterton, and of Dietrich and Alice von Hildebrand make up some of her favorite literary works. Mrs. Pilegaard teaches upper school Theology and Humanities.
